Artist Nichola “Knickertwist” Battilana created a miniature version of 221B Baker Street in an Altoid tin. The amount of detail is amazing. If you look closely, you can see the details on the door from the numbers to the mail slot. The inside of the tin, she includes furnishings, a violin and bow (on the right of the fireplace), piles of paper, books, throw, framed art, a skull, etc.
Battilana’s creativity doesn’t stop there. The following day, she created a matchbox version of 221B Baker Street. She says, “I believe that every last person should have a little 221B to fit in their pocket, so I came up with a matchbook version you can create for yourself.”
If you want to create your own matchbox version of 221B, here’s the link for the awesome tutorial. Have fun!
