Up till now, every Poster Posse project has been centered around a current or upcoming film.  Given that DC’s World’s Greatest Detective celebrates his 75th Anniversary this year we found it only fitting to share a cavalcade of art that will give fans exactly what they want….MORE BATMAN!

POSTER POSSE_LOGO-20Fasten you seat belts and remained seated because we are about to embark on Phase two of the Poster Posse’s Tribute Series for James Gunn and Marvel’s “Guardians Of The Galaxy”!  To say you guys “liked”Phase one of our project is a major understatement.  After Writer/Director James Gunn was kind enough to retweet it a few times and then post a preview print from today’s drop on his FACEBOOK PAGE,  the non-stop high-fives just kept coming in with MTV, and multiple sites, as well as fans picking it up and running with it.

POSTER POSSE_LOGO-20We want to start off by saying that WE believe that ‘Guardians of the Galaxy‘ will be THE biggest movie of the year and we predict that they will announce #2 VERY shortly after the opening weekend.  That being said, it only made sense that the Poster Posse would release a cavalcade of glorious art paying tribute to James Gunn’s vision of a bunch of ‘a-holes‘ in outer space.

Poster Posse Member “CandyKiller” Is Ready To Unleash The Queen With An All-New “Aliens” Print

As we told you back in April, Candykiller, AKA Scottish artist Brian Taylor, had more Ridley Scott tribute posters on the way.  Well today we are going to give you a look at this latest and greatest.  This time out he is taking on the Queen from Ridley Scott’s phenomenal sequel, “Aliens.”

Screen Shot 2014-05-23 at 12.27.27 PMWhere the first film, “Alien”, was all about suspense and the unknown, the sequel,  “Aliens,” was a bursting cornucopia of action, destruction and self preservation.  Throw in some amazing dialogue and you have one of our all-time favorite sci-fi films.  As you can see, Brian kept the color palette consistent and the two prints look absolutely sensational together.
