Official synopsis:
“Maleficent” is the untold story of Disney’s most iconic villain from the 1959 classic “Sleeping Beauty.” A beautiful, pure-hearted young woman, Maleficent has an idyllic life growing up in a peaceable forest kingdom, until one day when an invading army threatens the harmony of the land. Maleficent rises to be the land’s fiercest protector, but she ultimately suffers a ruthless betrayal—an act that begins to turn her pure heart to stone. Bent on revenge, Maleficent faces an epic battle with the invading king’s successor and, as a result, places a curse upon his newborn infant Aurora. As the child grows, Maleficent realizes that Aurora holds the key to peace in the kingdom—and perhaps to Maleficent’s true happiness as well.

We Geek Girls 
Maleficent was always my FAVE Disney female character. Not because I identified with her, but because the way they drew her with those purples, greens and blacks. She was so AWESOME. Come to think of it, I don’t think there is a character I’ve ever identified with. haha. Plus the name is Latin and I’m a Latin geek. Yet another movie on my list to see.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a favorite Disney villain, but now that I think of it, I did like Ursula. Don’t know why. lol Maleficent is pretty awesome, and she turns into a dragon. Where are you from?

I liked Ursula a lot as well. Oh And Cruella de Ville. But Maleficent always felt more super cool evil to me :-). I swear its the colours!! I’m from Canada… Did my spelling give me away?
