Photographer Karen Abad went to Indiana to visit friends during a bout of freezing winter weather and one week cooped up in the house, they decided to get creative. Abad and Olivia’s mom, Cristina, dressed up Olivia as their favorite TV characters, including Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones, Francis Underwood from House of Cards, and Michonne from The Walking Dead.

‘She is the smiliest baby ever, so trust me when I say that it was extremely difficult to get her to not smile,’ says Abad.
