Production on ‘Terminator: Genesis’ has now started filming in New Orleans.

Skydance Productions posted the following message along with the photo on their Facebook page:

In case you were wondering why it says R.I.P. Sarah on the slate, countless productions are paying tribute to Sarah Elizabeth Jones by writing her name on slates. Jones tragically lost her life while filming the Gregg Allman biopic ‘Midnight Rider.’ Photos of production slates can be found on Slates for Sarah Facebook page.

Directed by Alan Taylor (‘Thor: The Dark World’). Stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Emilia Clarke, Jason Clarke, J.K. Simmons, Jai Courtney, Dayo Okeniyi, Byung-hun Lee, Michael Gladis, Laete Kalorgridis, and Sandrine Holt.

‘Terminator: Genesis’ is set to be released on July 1st, 2015.
