(Dreams by Whisperfall)

Good Wednesday geek family! I am back, after what feels like an eternity, to a somewhat normal routine. BOY HAVE I MISSED YOU GALS AND GUYS!!

So much has been going on in the geek world, I am having trouble narrowing down a point of topic today…I know several shows started/ended this last month and some long awaited movies are now out or coming out this month. What shows or movies are you all watching!? Please let us know so! I would love to keep dialogue going on shows/movies/books/comics that we all have in common!

So I had a dream last night that GiGi and I were at a local lacrosse game (I am a fan of the local team here in NC). We were indoors which is unusual because the team we follow is outdoors. The team we were cheering for was winning and the crowd was pumped! I happen to look around at the crowd behind me (which I often do at actual games) and spotted Hugh Dancy and Benedict Cumberbatch two rows up from us.***Now I always imagine that I would play it very very cool in a case like this*** I approach and have a very normal conversation with the two of them. They inform me that they are in town filming and with some other people I might recognize. I then see Martin Freeman coming up to join us. At this point GiGi has covertly taken her role of photographer and is snapping shots of all of this. ***It is beyond me as I think back to this part in the dream, that no one else has approached these guys*** The game continues but I am increasingly uninterested as the stars keep coming in. Amanda Abbington is next, she doesn’t sit with us, but closer to the field. Billy Boyd and Dean O’Gorman (in a wheelchair) finish out the “cast” as they find a seat near an exit. I don’t remember what else we may have talked about while I watched everyone arrive but once Billy and Dean had taken their place the game was over. Odd, right!? Once the victory cheers (the home team won) had ended, Benedict, Hugh, Martin, Amanda, Billy and Dean were center field and the lights went out. After a brief moment the lights were back up and the actors were running a scene from the movie/show they were filming. I sadly don’t remember the content, just the passionate delivery of each line. At the end of the scene droves of people were lined up to chat and take pictures with each of them (and each of them were happy to do it). GiGi and I just hung back and waited. The dream ended with us all leaving the game/play together, like old friends. I was smiling when I woke up 🙂

(This is just one example of how my subconscious connects the various parts of my life. Of course we all know that I would faint if any part of that were to actually happen. Until then, I will practice my super cool/smooth/non annoying approaches to the famous ones I adore). Happy dreaming!

I promise a recap from my Ireland trip is on the way. As a photographer, I have to make sure my pictures are perfect (in my eyes) before I share them with the masses but I am excited for you to see a small part of what I saw.
