BBC have released a new trailer for this years ‘Doctor Who’ Christmas special titled, “Last Christmas” starring Peter Capaldi, Jenna Coleman and Nick Frost as Santa Claus.

Overview:

Four crew members of an Ice Cap Polar Base – Ashley Carter, Bellows, Professor Albert and Shona – are under attack from the alien Kantrofarri. Fortunately for them, help is on the way. But desperate though their situation is, how willing will they be to accept one rescuer who arrives in a police box, and another who turns up on a sleigh pulled by flying reindeer?

The all-star cast for this Christmas special also includes Natalie Gumede, Maureen Beattie, Faye Marsay, and Michael Troughton. The episode is directed by Paul Wilmshurst (Flatline, Mummy on the Orient Express and Kill the Moon) and written by Steven Moffat.

‘Doctor Who’ Christmas Special airs on Christmas Day on BBC One at 6:15pm and on BBC America at 9pm/8c.
