Check out this dark, epic and gritty Power/Rangers ‘Bootleg Universe’ One-Shot starring James Van Der Beek and Katee Sackhoff. The short film was produced by Adi Shankar (Dredd, Lone Survivor, The Grey, A Walk Among the Tombstones) and directed by Joseph Kahn (Torque). Shankar has previously released other short films, such as The Punisher: Dirty Laundry, Venom: Truth in Journalism, and the animated Judge Dredd: Superfiend.

if Saban would stop trying to get the video taken down and the director would be willing to do some more of these (i read somewhere that he’s really, really not interested) this could have made for a kick ass web series.

Totally agree!! I would love to see this made into a full length film, but web series works for me too.

I’m really happy that this exists. Full disclosure, I’m ancient and never watched Power Rangers, but my daughter did. I loved this!

I would rather see this as a full length movie, than Saban’s PG-13 reboot.
