“I remember a time of chaos. This wasted land. But most of all, I remember the Road Warrior. The man we called Max.”
It’s been more than three decades since Mel Gibson first brought George Miller’s Mad Max to life. The latest trailer explores the legacy of Mad Max, starting with footage from the trilogy and ending with some new footage from Fury Road.
“I wanted to tell a linear story—a chase that starts as the movie begins and continues for 110 minutes,” George Miller told Entertainment Weekly. There are few digital effects and even less dialogue in the movie; “in this crucible of very intense action,” he continues, “the characters are revealed.”
“All the power… all the chaos… all the madness… has led to now”
Synopsis:
Haunted by his turbulent past, Max Rockatansky (Tom Hardy) believes the best way to survive is to wander alone. Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa (Charlize Theron).
They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne), from whom something irreplaceable has been taken. Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and pursues the rebels ruthlessly in the high-octane Road War that follows.
Directed by George Miller. Stars Tom Hardy, Nicholas Hoult, Charlize Theron, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Zoë Kravitz, Riley Keough,Nathan Jones, Josh Helman.
‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ hits theaters May 15th, 2015.

The early word suggests this could be a contender for film of the year, in terms of the major league blockbusters that are scheduled.
