Disney•Pixar’s have released an international poster for its upcoming animated movie, ‘The Good Dinosaur.’
Pixar also released the updated cast list for the movie. The movie was originally voiced by John Lithgow, Frances McDormand, Bill Hader, Neil Patrick Harris and Judy Greer. Here’s the new cast list:
- Raymond Ochoa – Arlo the Apatosaurus.
- Jack Bright – Spot, Arlo’s unlikely human friend.
- Jeffrey Wright – Poppa, Arlo’s father.
- Frances McDormand – Momma, Arlo’s mother.
- Marcus Scribner – Buck, Arlo’s brother.
- Steve Zahn – Thunderclap the pterodactyl.
- AJ Buckley – Nash the T-Rex.
- Anna Paquin – Ramsey the T-Rex.
- Sam Elliott – Butch the T-Rex.
Director Peter Sohn on the new cast:
It was all about finding a younger Arlo. It was really about finding a boy, so that we could push into that idea of him growing up and becoming a man, so the actor previous – who is a great actor – he was already a man, and so I needed to push that arc and find that compassionate kid, so that was the major kind of change. Then everything else, all the other characters that supported that story came in and out and changed and evolved and through that evolution, some of those performers changed out of it.
Synopsis:
“The Good Dinosaur” asks the question: What if the asteroid that forever changed life on Earth missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct? Pixar Animation Studios takes you on an epic journey into the world of dinosaurs where an Apatosaurus named Arlo makes an unlikely human friend. While traveling through a harsh and mysterious landscape, Arlo learns the power of confronting his fears and discovers what he is truly capable of.
