Yesterday, in 18 countries around the globe, ‘THE HUNGER GAMES’ iconic ‘3-Finger salute’ was unveiled on high profile buildings, billboards and locations, including Times Square in New York, Westfield Centre in London, Colonne di San Lorenzo in Milan and Novy Arbat Avenue in Moscow.

The hands used in the synchronized global outdoor advertising campaign were created from 6 images of people ranging from ages 8 to 80, both men and women and from all nationalities.

Lionsgate encourages people and fans from around the Globe to come together, discover and #UNITE.

Synopsis:

With the nation of Panem in a full-scale war, Katniss confronts President Snow (Donald Sutherland) in the final showdown. Teamed with a group of her closest friends – including Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Finnick (Sam Claflin), and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) – Katniss goes off on a mission with the unit from District 13 as they risk their lives to stage an assassination attempt on President Snow who has become increasingly obsessed with destroying her. The mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced in The Hunger Games.

Directed by Francis Lawrence from a screenplay by Peter Craig and Danny Strong.
