Former WWE wrestler CM Punk was originally considered to play the role of Rocksteady, but lost it to his former colleague Sheamus. In a recent interview with The Chicago Tribune, Punk dropped a major spoiler about Bebop and Rocksteady. 

“I just assumed Sheamus is a bigger dude, so they gave it to the big guy. It makes sense. They were looking for two big, muscly bouncer types. Sheamus fits the role. I think they end up getting mutated half way through. You didn’t hear that from me, though.”

Hopefully that would be the case. 

Starring: Megan Fox as April O’Neil, Will Arnett as Vernon Fenwick, Stephen Amell as Casey Jones, Tyler Perry as Baxter Stockman. William Fichtner as Eric Sacks, Brian Tee as Shreder, Alessandra Ambrosio, Alan Ritchson as Raphael, Jeremy Howard as Donatello, Pete Ploszek as Leonardo, Noel Fisher as Michelangelo, Gary Anthony Williams as Bebop and Brittany Ishibashi as Karai. No further details about the plot have been released.

“Earth to Echo” director David Green will direct the sequel, with Michael Bay once again producing.
