According to Variety, Paramount has moved Justin Lin’s ‘Star Trek Beyond’ back two weeks from July 8th to July 22nd.

The film will be in box-office competition with Guy Ritchie’s ‘King Arthur’ and Fox’s ‘Ice Age: Collision Course.’

‘Star Trek Beyond’ will mark the 50th anniversary of the original ‘Star Trek’ TV series that originally aired on September 8th, 1966 on NBC.

Directed by Justin Lin, from a script by Simon Pegg and Doug Jung. Stars: Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Simon Pegg, Anton Yelchin and John Cho along with Idris Elba as the villain and Sofia Boutella in a mystery role.

‘Star Trek Beyond′ is set for release on July 22nd, 2016.
