Tim & Ridge wanted to express the joy and delight of the perennial Schulz holiday classic by interpreting an aspect of the film that had not been centrally rendered on DHM’s prints prior, and succeed they did! A delighted Snoopy leads the gang through a wonderful wintery session that harkens to the film’s opening frames and strains of Vince Guaraldi’s masterful, “Christmas Time is Here,” instantly taking us all back to our childhoods. Charming touches such as a certain beagle’s doghouse stripped of its excessive holiday ornamentation to instead decorate everyone’s favorite little Christmas tree, anchored beautifully by Linus blanket, a wonderfully content Charlie Brown, Pigpen at work on his snowman, and our absolute favorite, Linus tasting snowflakes, all come together to create a lovely print that not only warms the heart but honors Mr. Schulz’s timeless legacy.
