The first official trailer for Justin Lin’s ‘Star Trek Beyond’, the third installment of the rebooted Trek franchise, was set to be attached to ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ this weekend, but Paramount has decided to release the full trailer following the leaked version.
Guys, I didn’t see any lens flare. 😃 A thumbs up for Lin.
Directed by Justin Lin, from a script by Simon Pegg and Doug Jung. Stars: Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Simon Pegg, Anton Yelchin and John Cho along with Idris Elba as the villain and Sofia Boutella in a mystery role.
‘Star Trek Beyond′ is set for release on July 22nd, 2016, which marks the 50th anniversary of the franchise.

Beam me up! Wow, looks good. I’m not a big follower of Star Trek, but have enjoyed the films and the original classic TV series. Will look forward to seeing this.

Me too. I’ve not seen all the Trek TV series, I still like the classic series best, but I really like all the films as well, so really looking forward to this. It looks really exciting. Great to see so many great trailers released in the run up to Star Wars episode VII
