YAY!! Lyndsy Fonseca will return as Angie Martinelli in ‘Agent Carter’ in Season 2 – but there’s a twist.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Fonseca will reprise her role in Episode 9 “in a dream sequence, which includes what is sure to be an epic song and dance number.”

“Episode 8 ends with a cliffhanger where Peggy and Jarvis get in big trouble and are knocked out,” says executive producer Michele Fazekas. “Episode 9 begins with a dream sequence that starts in black and white — by the way, [Atwell] was made for black and white. She looks like Rita Hayworth. She looks spectacular.”

According to Fazekas, Angie is basically Peggy’s “Jiminy Cricket.” “She’s [her] conscience and she’s speaking the things that Peggy maybe can’t say to herself,” Fazekas says. “It ties things back together from the first season and it’s connecting all of these things in a way that only a dream can do.”

The sequence will be choreographed by Dancing with the Stars’ Louis van Amstel, the sequence features a number of pros from DWTS, including van Amstel, Dmitry Chaplin, Karina Smirnoff, Anna Trebunskaya, Sasha Farber and Damian Whitewood. They will be joined by dancers Robert Roldan, Malene Ostergaard, Amanda Balen, Serge Onik, Jenya Shatilova, Lacey Escabar, Alla Kocherga and Paul Kirkland. 

“Marvel’s Agent Carter” stars Hayley Atwell as Agent Carter, James D’Arcy as Edwin Jarvis, Chad Michael Murray as Agent Jack Thompson and Enver Gjokaj as Chief Daniel Sousa.

It was also recently announced that supporting cast for season two will include Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark, Bridget Regan as Dottie Underwood, Wynn Everett as Whitney Frost, Reggie Austin as Dr. Jason Wilkes, Currie Graham as Calvin Chadwick, Lotte Verbeek as Ana Jarvis, Lesley Boone as Rose, Kurtwood Smith as Vernon Masters and Ken Marino as mob boss Joseph Manfredi.

Tara Butters, Michele Fazekas, Christopher Markus, Stephen McFeely, Chris Dingess, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Alan Fine, Joe Quesada, Stan Lee and Jeph Loeb are executive producers.  “Marvel’s Agent Carter” is produced by ABC Studios and Marvel Television.

‘Agent Carter’ Season 2 airs Tuesday, January 5th at 9pm on ABC.
