On July 20th, 1952, Dorothy and Donald Lutz got married. They only had one photo from their wedding because they were stood up by their wedding photographer. Fast forward 61 years later, their grandson’s wife, a wedding stylist and planner Lauren Wells, surprised the couple with an “UP” themed wedding photo shoot.
“Looking back, Dorothy recalls that — photos or no photos — she got the best gift of all that day, more than 61 years ago.” “I was more excited about being married to the one that I loved very much,” she said. “That was the main thing.” Dorothy told the Boston Globe.
