Directed by Jon Favreau, the film will be a mix of live-action and VFX. Oscar winner Rob Legato – who previously worked on Avatar, The Wolf of Wall Street, and Titanic – will be overseeing the visual effects for the film.

What do you think of Idris Elba as the voice of Shere Khan? I think it’s a great casting choice. I’m sure we will be seeing photos of Elba wearing a mocap suit soon.

‘The Jungle Book‘ opens in theaters on October 9th, 2015.
