In honor of the 30th anniversary, Sony Pictures Entertainment has announced today that they will re-release a newly restored and remastered version of ‘Ghostbusters’ in more that 700 theaters on August 29th.

Here’s what Sony’s President Rory Bruer had to say about the event:

“Ghostbusters is still one of our studio’s most beloved franchises. I was lucky enough to work on the release of the film on its first run, so it’s a real thrill for me to see that it’s still connecting with audiences everywhere. On the big screen or in home entertainment, this is a great movie to experience again and again.”

The ‘Ghostbusters’ 30th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray will be released on September 16th. The set also includes the 25th Anniversary of the sequel, ‘Ghostbusters 2.’
