Andrew Garfield Will Not Reprise His Role As Spider-Man

Marvel and Sony announced that Spider-Man will be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but the announcement made no mention of Andrew Garfield (The Amazing Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man 2). 

According to The Wrap, Garfield will not be reprising his role when Spidey joins the MCU. Here’s a tweet from a reporter from The Wrap:

The new Spider-Man movie is set to release on July 28, 2017.
