According to Deadline, The CW is in the early stages of developing an Arrow/The Flash spinoff with Arrow creators Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Marc Guggenheim, and will include fan-favorite recurring actors/characters from both shows.

Actors to reprise their characters in the spinoff: Brandon Routh (Ray Palmer/The Atom), Victor Garber (Dr. Martin Stein), Wentworth Miller (Snart/Captain Cold), and Caity Lotz (Black Canary). (Yes, you read that last name right.) It’s unclear if Lotz will play the same character or a new superhero. I am assuming that Robbie Amell, the other half of Firestorm, will also be involved in some way.

The series will also introduce 3 new DC Comics characters that have never appeared on television. Deadline adds that, “With the creative auspices and talent involved, I hear that it could go straight to series, possibly for next midseason.”
