TexasChainsawMassacre FF_Var res2

Grey Matter Art, under license from Vortex Inc, Tobe Hooper, and Kim Henkel is proud to announce our last and final release for the 4 part artist series for the 40th Anniversary of the film, “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.” This poster is by talented artist, Francesco Francavilla. This is our first collaboration with Francesco, and I think he presented us with a classic take on the film. Below are images and details on the poster release.

  • Size: 24×36
  • Regular Edition: 225/$50.00
  • Variant Edition: 150/$65.00
  • Printed By: D & L Screen Printing

We are so happy to unveil our final poster in this series to everyone that has been waiting so patiently for it to be announced, and I think it was well worth the wait to show this classic representation of the film. It was a pleasure working with Francesco, and I could not be happier with what he gave us, this is the perfect poster to close the series with. This piece is just so gritty looking, especially the variant edition, with the blood spatter with the darker yellow tones to it. It really is sums up the film in a perfect way. I think all of the artists did such a great job in this series and each really brought something a little different to the table. It was a blast working with everyone to make this project come together, and I hope everyone really enjoyed what we have released.

This poster will be going on sale on Thursday, May 21st at a random time between 1-2pm EST. Follow Grey Matter Art on Twitter for the sale announcement.
