Update: Ciara Renée confirmed via Twitter that there are no plans for a ‘Hawkgirl’ solo series.

The CW network is adding another DC Comics-based series to its lineup with a ‘Hawkgirl’ spinoff.

Hawkgirl will be making her debut in the upcoming CW’s ‘DC’s Legends of Tomorrow,’ and now, according to SpoilerTV, the CW is in the very early stages of developing a standalone series, starring Ciara Renée.

The site goes on to report that “If The CW decides to move forward with it, it will most likely bypass the pilot stage and get a straight to series order.”

It is unclear if ‘Hawkgirl’ will be set before or after the events of ‘Legends of Tomorrow.’
