Entertainment Weekly has unveiled the cover for this week’s special double-issue Comic-Con preview featuring the Trinity and new stills from Zack Snyder’s ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.’ We get our first look at Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne and Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince. There’s also new stills of Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor, Batman, and Superman.

Ben Affleck compares the role of Batman to that of Hamlet, saying “We accept that he’s played by actors with different interpretations.”

Affleck’s Batman will be an older, more tired Caped Crusader: “He’s at the end of his run and maybe the end of his life. There’s this sort of world-weariness to it…He’s on the verge of being swallowed up by the anger and the rage that we see haunt this character in the other manifestations of it, but this guy is further down the line and has become more embittered and cynical.”
