I’m still having ‘Sons of Anarchy’ withdrawals, but that may go away soon with Kurt Sutter’s upcoming new series ‘The Bastard Executioner.’
‘The Bastard Executioner’ tells the story of a warrior knight in King Edward I’s charge who is broken by the ravages of war and vows to lay down his sword. When that violence finds him again, however, he’s forced to pick up the bloodiest sword of all.

‘The Bastard Executioner’ was created by Kurt Sutter, who will serve as Executive Producer along with award-winning producers Brian Grazer, Francie Calfo and Paris Barclay. Sutter wrote the script for the pilot of The Bastard Executioner, which was directed by Barclay.
Stars: Katey Sagal, Lee Jones, Stephen Moyer, Flora Spencer-Longhurst, Kurt Sutter, Sam Spruell, Darren Evans, Danny Sapani, Timothy V. Murphy, Sarah White, Sarah Sweeney, Elen Rhys, Ethan Griffiths and guest star Matthew Rhys.
‘The Bastard Executioner’ will begin airing in October 2015 on FX.

The trailer looks interesting. I’ll definitely give it a go since it’s created by Kurt Sutter. It seems a fair bit of a different world than what he did with Sons

That’s the only reason why I wan’t to check it out. Yeah, way different. But you know how twisted Kurt is, so who knows.

Yeah I totally agree. When I first started watching Sons, I wasn’t sure if I liked it, but I kept watching and before I knew it, I was hooked. This series could be the same.
