Original ‘Ghostbusters’ star Dan Aykroyd took to social media on Tuesday to announce that he was on the set of Paul Feig’s ‘Ghostbusters’ reboot shooting a cameo scene with Kristen Wiig.

Aykroyd deleted the tweet later that day, but Entertainment Weekly confirmed his involvement with his reps.
Rumored details of Aykroyd’s cameo, via Indie Revolver (WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD):
“Aykroyd is cameoing as a Cabbie in the new film and that he was on set filming his scene last night. The scene featured Kristen Wiig attempting to hail Aykroyd’s cab. Aykroyd throws out the iconic line, “I ain’t afraid of no ghosts.” And drives away with Wiig yelling something along the lines of “That’s a double negative! That means you are afraid of ghosts!”

Unofficial Plot Synopsis:
Wiig and McCarthy play a pair of unheralded authors who write a book positing that ghosts are real. Flash forward a few years and Wiig lands a prestigious teaching position at Columbia U. Which is pretty sweet, until her book resurfaces and she is laughed out of academia.
Wiig reunites with McCarthy and the other two proton pack-packing phantom wranglers, and she gets some sweet revenge when ghosts invade Manhattan and she and her team have to save the world.
The cast includes: Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, and Chris Hemsworth.
‘Ghostbusters’ hits theaters on July 22, 2016.
