According to The Wrap, that actor Chris Pine (Star Trek, Into the Woods) has officially closed the deal to star opposite Gal Gadot as Steve Trevor in Patty Jenkin’s ‘Wonder Woman.’ Pine has signed a multi-picture deal that includes sequel options.
While there are no current plot details available, The Wrap reports that “Steve Trevor will be no mere love interest for Gadot’s Diana Prince, as there will be plenty of action to keep him busy.”
Patty Jenkins (Monster) is helming the ‘Wonder Woman’ solo film, who took over for Michelle MacLaren (Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead) back in April.
After rumors of Pine in talks to play Hal Jordan in the upcoming “Green Lantern Corps,” we can finally put the rumors to rest.
