Actor Michael Stuhlbarg (Boardwalk Empire, A Serious Man, Steve Jobs) is in talks to join the cast of Marvel’s ‘Doctor Strange,’ according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Variety adds that Stuhlbarg will play the role of Doctor Nicodemus West, the man who fixed Strange’s hands and even follows him to Kamar-Taj and undergoes his own mystical training.

Directed by Scott Derrickson and scripted by Jon Spaihts. Stars: Benedict Cumberbatch, Rachel McAdams as the female lead, Tilda Swinton as the Ancient One, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Baron Mordo and Mads Mikkelsen.

‘Doctor Strange’ opens in theaters November 4, 2016.
