Martial artist and actor Scott Adkins (The Expendables 2, The Bourne Ultimatum, Zero Dark Thirty) has joined the cast of Marvel’s ‘Doctor Strange’ in a mysterious role, according to The Wrap.

Adkins’ role is being kept under wraps for now. The Wrap’s sources indicate that “he’ll have several major action scenes featuring hand-to-hand combat.”

Directed by Scott Derrickson and scripted by Jon Spaihts. Stars: Benedict Cumberbatch, Rachel McAdams as the female lead, Tilda Swinton as the Ancient One, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Baron Mordo, Mads Mikkelsen, Amy Landecker and Michael Stuhlbarg.

‘Doctor Strange’ opens in theaters November 4, 2016.
