‘Supergirl’ have cast actress Laura Vandervoort and actor Jeff Branson, with Blake Berris to guest star. The announcement was made Warner Bros. Television’s ‘Supergirl’ session at the Television Critics Association Winter 2016 Press Tour.

Actress Laura Vandervoort (Smallville, Bitten), who played Kara/Supergirl on Smallville, will guest-star in an upcoming episode of ‘Supergirl’ as the villain Indigo. 

Indigo is described as “a living, strong-willed supercomputer that was sentenced to Fort Rozz after turning against the people of Krypton. Now on Earth, Indigo will let nothing stand in her way.”

Vandervoort will debut in the recurring role as Indigo starting with episode 15.

Along with the casting of Laura Vandervoort as Indigo, producers also revealed that actor Jeff Branson (The Young and the Restless) has been cast in the recurring role of Master Jailer.

Master Jailer is described as “The forceful and unrelenting jail guard on Fort Rozz, Master Jailer showed no mercy. Now on Earth, he is hellbent on catching all of the Fort Rozz escapees and brutally bringing them to justice.”

Branson will make his debut in the fourteenth episode.

Actor Blake Berris (Days of Our Lives) will guest star as Gabriel Phillips and will make his debut in the fourteenth episode. Details on his character have not been revealed. 

‘Supergirl’ airs Mondays at 8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT on CBS.
