HBO have released two new behind-the-scenes featurettes from Sunday night’s episode of ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 6, titled “Oathbreaker.”
Inside the Episode #3 with showrunners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff:
“Honor is a kind of wished for state among certain members of the society who want to be the best possible versions of themselves.” Benioff says. “They want to live and die bravely, fighting according to a certain code, and certainly Ned embodied that better than anyone we’ve seen, I think, on the show.”
“Honor was so important to Ned Stark that it was worth losing his life for, but he was completely ready to let go of that honor and excellence to do something he really felt was more important,” Weiss adds. “That could make a very, very strong defense for Ned doing what he did, but it certainly does puncture the mythology of Ned Stark that’s running through this world, especially after his death.”
Good Intentions with Peter Dinklage, Jacob Anderson & Nathalie Emmanuel:
Official Synopsis:
Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) meets her future. Bran meets the past. Tommen confronts the High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce). Arya (Maisie Williams) trains to be No One. Varys (Conleth Hill) finds an answer. Ramsay gets a gift.
