Warner Bros. and The CW announced today that Lynda Carter, who played Wonder Woman in the 1970s TV series, has landed a recurring role in the upcoming second season of ‘Supergirl.’ Carter will play the President of the United States.
Carter will maker her first appearance in episode three and recur from then on.
Best known for her role as the iconic hero, Lynda Carter is also an accomplished singer who has performed to rave reviews before sell-out crowds from the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC to Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City. She’s also recently leant her voice to many popular video games, including this year’s Fallout 4.
‘Supergirl’ Season 2 premieres October 10th at 8 p.m on The CW.
