“You’re quickly becoming a legend.”
Here’s the first footage from Guy Ritchie’s ‘King Arthur: Legend of the Sword,’ starring Charlie Hunnam, Jude Law, Eric Bana, Aiden Gillen and Astrid Berges-Frisbey.
The project is a re-imagining of the legend of King Arthur, believed to have been a 6th century king who defended Britain against Saxon invaders. The key source material for the film will be Thomas Mallory’s “Le Morte d’Arthur,” published in 1485 as a compilation of French and English tales.
Directed by Guy Ritchie. Starring: Charlie Hunnam as Arthur Pendragon, Djimon Hounsou as Bedivere, Jude Law as Vortigern, Eric Bana as Uther Pendragon, Aiden Gillen as Goosefat Bill, Mikael Persbrandt, and Astrid Berges-Frisbey as Guinevere.
‘King Arthur: Legend of the Sword’ arrives in theaters on March 24th, 2017.
