Earlier this morning, Ben Affleck took to social media to post a cryptic video of DC villain Deathstroke walking towards the camera.

According to The Wrap, Slade Wilson will be the main villain in Ben Affleck’s solo Batman movie. “Deathstroke will, in fact, be the main antagonist of the Batman standalone movie he’s directing, The Wrap has exclusively learned from an individual with knowledge of the situation.”

Earlier this year, Arrow’s showrunner Marc Guggenheim revealed on Tumblr that Deathstroke will not be returning due to him being “tied up in another DC project.”

Rumors surfaced that most of the Batman reboot would take place in Arkham Asylum, but according to El Mayimbe, the movie will not take place in Arkham Asylum.

There’s no word as to who may be playing Deathstroke at this moment.

Deathstroke the Terminator, aka Slade Wilson, was created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez, first appearing in “The New Teen Titans” #2 back in 1980. 

No official release date has been announced for Affleck’s solo Batman movie.
