The Wrap reports actor Ciarán Hinds (Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Rome) will play Steppenwolf, the primary villain in Zack Snyder’s upcoming ‘Justice League’ film. The report states that Hinds has recently wrapped production for his motion-capture character.  

The Wrap also reports that Steppenwolf’s look will be “upgraded” from his first appearance in the deleted scene from ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.’

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Directed by Zack Snyder, this marks the big screen debut of the Justice League, featuring an all-star lineup: Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher.

‘Justice League’ is set for release November 17, 2017.
