Something pretty incredible has come across our desk at WeGeekGirls. Our friends at Downtown Bookworks let us take a look at few books that they thought we would find interesting…and WE SURE DID!

This one is gear for a younger audience and presents a girl powered united front to help promote honesty, kindness, strength and friendship. (It’s the perfect book to incorporate into playtime reading. My niece really enjoys flipping through while I read it to her).
We are showcasing Superheroines in this post because Downtown Bookworks is doing something special right now.
As a female owned and operated business, they want to stand in solidarity with the efforts of Planed Parenthood by donating a percentage of the proceeds from the sale of BOTH above mentioned books to the cause.
Having had my eyes and hands on both books, I can tell you that they are of superior quality and the perfect introduction to a wonderful list of characters.
