In the Still of the Knight (The Black Knight Chronicles Book 5) is out TODAY!!!!

Greetings gals and guys! I’m thinking faster than I can type right now because I am sooooooooo excited to tell you about today’s release of In the Still of the Knight (The Black Knight Chronicles Book 5) by John G. Hartness.

I know, I know, I haven’t even told you about books 1-4 BUT rest assured that I have spent the last week binge reading them and LOVED THEM (formal reviews to follow).

The Black Knight Chronicles are lived and told by the super witty Jimmy Black. He along with his best pal Greg investigate nocturnal supernatural occurrences in/around the city of Charlotte, NC. (Let’s just say that these occurrences usually border on the world altering level). Why nocturnal supernatural occurrences you ask? Oh yeah, Jimmy and Greg are modern day vampires 😉  Be it battling a demon, fighting alongside a dragon, saving Charlotte from a vampire Kingpin or becoming the prey in Faerieland, you can count on 4 things 1) Jimmy, Greg and a few of their sidekicks fighting the good fight 2) Hysterical ongoing commentary/banter from Jimmy/Greg/crew  4) Loads of the most Geektastic references and 3) The sound of Miller Light caps hitting the floor after a looooooong night!

To quote my pal John G. Hartness himself…

“They’re huge nerds. They’re vampires. They’re the good guys. We’re all so screwed.”

Pick up In the Still of the Knight here :

And while you are at it, grab the other 4

John G. Hartness is a teller of tales, a righter of wrong, defender of ladies’ virtues, and some people call him Maurice, for he speaks of the pompatus of love. He is also the author of EPIC-Award-winning The Black Knight Chronicles from Bell Bridge Books, a comedic urban fantasy series that answers the eternal question “Why aren’t there more fat vampires?” He is also the creator of the comic horror Bubba the Monster Hunter series, and the creator and co-editor of the Big Bad series of horror anthologies from Dark Oak Press and Media. 2015 has seen John launch a new dark fantasy series featuring Quncy Harker, Demon Hunter.
In his copious free time John enjoys long walks on the beach, rescuing kittens from trees and recording new episodes of his ridiculous podcast Literate Liquors, where he pairs book reviews and alcoholic drinks in new and ludicrous ways. John is also a contributor to the Magical Words group blog. An avid Magic: the Gathering player, John is strong in his nerd-fu and has sometimes been referred to as “the Kevin Smith of Charlotte, NC.” And not just for his girth.
