The son of feared mob boss Carmine Falcone (John Doman), Carpinello’s Mario has rejected his family’s criminal ways and made a legitimate life for himself as a well-respected, Ivy League-educated ER doctor. He’s kind, honest and trustworthy, making him the black sheep of the Falcone clan. But his arrival in Gotham will create major waves in the personal life of Jim Gordon, who at the end of Season 2 left town to find and win back his pregnant fiancee Lee.

‘Gotham’ Season 3 is set to debut on Monday, September 19th at 8/7.

The CW have added actor Josh Segarra (Chicago P.D., Sirens) as a series regular for the fifth season of ‘Arrow,’ according to Deadline.

Segarra will play Adrian Chase, “Star City’s new district attorney and an ally of Mayor Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell), who aims to clean up the streets through the legal system.”

Adrian Chase and his alter ego the Vigilante first appeared in the 1983 New Teen Titans Annual #2. A New York City district attorney whose family was killed by mobsters, Chase sought justice in his own way. In the comics, there are several characters operating under the name Vigilante. One of them has narrative ties to Deathstroke, who was a major character during Arrow‘s second season, and the CW’s DC shows have tended to mix and match material from various DC comics sources in adapting characters for these shows.

‘Arrow’ Season 5 will premiere Wednesday, October 5th at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.

‘DC’s Legends of Tomorrow’ Adds Nick Zano:

In the comics, Nate becomes a hero in his own right and takes the name Citizen Steel, paying homage to his grandfather’s legacy by becoming a member of the JSA.

‘DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow’ returns Thursday, October 13th at 8 p.m. on The CW.
