Hello There!!!! And the warmest of wishes for 2023 to you all, on this chilly (in NC) evening!!

After a short season of holiday hibernation, GiGi and I are a beginning to plan our WGGs adventures for the year and are VERY excited about what’s to come!

GalaxyCon Raleigh 2022 was easily the highlight of our convention season last year. We were only able to attend two days of the event but they were filled with enough, incredible content, to make us very grateful for the experience.

We attended the panels of Brendan Fraser and Giancarlo Esposito, who both delivered some of the most heartfelt speeches and question responses we’ve been able to hear. GiGi and I try our best to be very intentional with our time and interactions, especially at fandom related events and it always thrills our hearts to see/hear attending guests do the very same thing. Their panels were full of adoring fans and they sure knew how to make us all feel seen/heard! We love them!!

In a more intimate panel forum, GiGi was able to get to know Sean Gunn and Scott Patterson (Gilmore Girls) and I sat front row for Carey Jones. We had a great post panel discussion about how enjoyable it was to get a more, in depth look at the people behind the characters and, in Carey’s case, special effects, we’ve loved for years.

A stroll through the Exhibition Hall rounded out our coverage for the weekend and I am not exaggerating here when I tell you all that every writer, artist, artisan and vendor we were able to speak to said that it was THE BEST convention they had presented at, at that point.

From what we were able to witness, it’s easy to see why and the reason I was SO eager to write this today!!!!!!

• Orange is the New Black’s Kate Mulgrew, Lori Petty (also Tank Girl), and Tarryn Manning 
• Voice stars from Invader Zim, My Hero Academia, Chainsaw Man, Demon Slayer, One Piece, Nintendo, and more!

In addition to communal activities and spectacles, the event will once again bring together some of the most beloved celebs from movies, television, comics, wrestling, and gaming.
